Women's Conference

Britt and I had such a good time together learning how to be better mommies and wives. The story behind the glasses in the toilet......After the concert the first night, we ran to go potty, both of us needed to go real bad! Any way, soon as I opened the stall door, my sun glasses fell in the toilet. I was laughing really hard, I do that when it's late. So I yell to Brittany to come see. "You gotta see this." As she peeks her head in the stall door, a women walked past and gave us a look like "Are you serious?""This seems more like something teenage boys show eachother and laugh about." Needless to say we didn't tell her that we weren't looking at "the job" in the toilet. We just died laughing letting her believe that we were disgusting. Conference was amazing, I was super spiritually lifted. LOVE YA BRITT! Thanks for inviting me and for the great memories!

Easter Dresses

Why is it that I can't seem to get a good picture with these girls?!!! They look so cute in their Easter dresses, but too bad i'm not a photographer and they REFUSE to both look at the camera and smile at the same time. Actually, they even REFUSED to stand up for these pictures. They both insisted on sitting right on the kitchen floor.

Dentist

Halli's first check up at the dentist was a blast for her. Aunt Brandi did all the work, and Halli just thought that was the coolest thing ever. Even though Brandi is a Dental Hygenist, Halli thinks shes is a Dentist---The real thing. Although Halli had so much fun, she has some cavities. BUMMER. The dentist said that the teeth with cavities never calcified, which makes them super susceptible to cavities.

GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS

While staying at my parents' house during Valentine's weekend I woke up one morning to my girls covered in this beautiful shade of red lipstick. No big deal right? Just wash it off. Well unfortunately easier said than done. I don't know if any of you have ever tried Cover Girl Color Stay lipstick, but if you have you know that it paints your lips like a nail polish would!!!! Thats right this permanent lipstick only comes off after time allows it to wear off. That was one and a half months ago, and Halli still has a light pink spot on her scalp that has not come off yet. GOOD TIMES. And Mom, sorry they decided to paint you wall as well as each other's faces!!!!!

Don't be fooled by this cute face. I'm sure Halli was the CULPRIT! And since my mom just found the lipstick tube hiding under Kaylee's doll house, well, let's just say Macie isn't quite yet old enough to know to hide something well in order to not get in trouble!

Halli and Daddy

Riding Grandma's "Yellow one" as Halli would call it. This was Halli's favorite thing during the camping trip.
Ok Ok! I have spring fever. The last few days have been beautiful! Just thought I'd post some memories from last summer. Here we are camping at Justin's family cabin. This is a tradition that his family never skips out on! Lots of motorcycles, four wheelers, fishing, and great fun!

The girls had such a great time sledding at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Friday afternoon I put the girls down for a nap. Macie wasn't feeling well and Halli kept climbing into her bed and waking her up, so I put Halli in my bed to nap. About 10 minutes later I thought I heard something goin on in my bedroom. I went to check on Halli, and lo and behold there she was hiding in my bedroom corner with something in her hand. What was it you ask. This package of Sudafed!!!!!! All she said was "Mommy I eat red candy!" Justin's nightstand drawer was dumped out...thus where the Sudafed came from. Not knowing how many were gone before she got to them I called poison control and was told to take to directly to the ER. After a few hours of examination and monitoring...Halli was ok and we were sent home. So you might be asking why I would keep medicine in a drawer my kids can get into to. Well...I DON'T! Justin had a stuffy nose one night while sleeping and got the Sudafed out of the medicine cabinet far out of my children's reach. He put it in his nightstand drawer sleepily without thinking! Thank goodness she's doing just fine!

Splish Splash

Today I woke up to some poopie girls!! I am talkin up the back, down the legs, and even in the feet of their footie pajamas! So "rub a dub dub" was the only way these stinky girls were gonna get clean. Lately Halli say "look mommy... Halli's the Little Mermaid" and lays on her tummy in the tub. Today Macie just had to copy. I love how she does everything her big sis does! Makes me kinda sad that I got so mad at my little sis when she tried to copy everything that I did. Now I see that it is only because the older siblings are looked up to so much. Macie just wants so much to be just like her big sis and do everything just the way Halli does things! So sweet!
